Program kicks off with activation at the 2019 Litecoin Summit in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) August 27, 2019

As the realization of the potential that cryptocurrency and blockchain technology hold in boosting economic parity and access for millions of underserved individuals across the globe continues to rise, the Litecoin Foundation is announcing a new collaboration with UNICEF Kid Power to drive financial education in the classroom and give students the opportunity to make a difference in their communities and around the world.

Named one of TIME’s 25 Best Inventions, and recognized as one of Fast Company’s 2019 World Changing Ideas, UNICEF Kid Power is one of the largest education technology programs reaching underserved elementary schools in over 3,400 cities and towns nationwide.

With UNICEF Kid Power, kids save lives globally and give back locally.

The Litecoin Foundation will kick off this collaboration with UNICEF Kid Power in October during Vegas Blockchain Week in Las Vegas at the 2019 Litecoin Summit (October 28-29, 2019). During the summit, attendees will be encouraged to visit the UNICEF Kid Power booth and unlock up to 125,000 Kid Power Coins, which the Litecoin Foundation will underwrite for Las Vegas schools.
